Prerequisite: None     Grades: 9-12

This course is designed as an introduction to the study of art history. It will not focus on any one particualr aspect of art history. The class will instead give students and overview of all aspects of art history. It will also teach them about art from around the world. Students will learn about ancient to modern art. Students will create artwork related to the various time periods covered during the semester.

This class is designed as an introductory college-level course in the history of art. Students will study and examine the major forms of artistic expression from the past, various cultures, and from recent times.
